Swashbuckler Landscaping - Maple Valley, WA | PH: 425.754.4873 | swashbucklerys@msn.com

When it comes to landscaping, Robbie does it all. Concrete, pavers, water features, retaining walls, mowing, etc. We had our backyard excavated and hired Robbie to pour a concrete walkway from our existing patio on the back of the house all the way around the side of the house to the driveway out front. Great price and incredible service! He setup the forms on one day and poured the concrete on another. Each day he showed up, including the day of the estimate, he was always on time. Anyone with a busy schedule can appreciate that.

Robbie can landscape entire yards OR landscape parts of it for you. He can go one step further with his service and he'll get you started with your landscaping and let you finish what you want if budget is a concern. For example, he can deliver gravel for pavers, level and tamp the gravel, setup the boarder and then you can place the pavers. Need materials at a great price? Call Robbie.

Swashbuckler Landscaping, owned by Rob (Robbie) Witters at 425.754.4873 or email him at swashbucklerys@msn.com . Start with a phone call. It's the fastest way to reach him.

I enjoy doing some landcaping myself, but not concrete. The photo below is after Robbie poured our walkway. Now I can start filling in the blanks. My family used to have to walk on the wet ground to get to the trash cans or to get the front yard. Now we can walk barefoot on the concrete walkway. Very Nice!

Robbie did an amazing job with the transition of the walkway at one level, to the height of the driveway at another level.

Greg Brock Dozing & Services, LLC - Auburn, WA

I definitely recommend Greg Brock. Number one, he's a fun guy to be around. Number two, he's got great prices, great service and attention to detail. He brought his smallest tractor for my 1/3 acre lot. Greg and his Son showed up a little ahead of time, scraped away everything I didn't want in my backyard and hauled it away all in one day. He did a great job of leveling everything. Our house was built in 1993. We bought it about seven years ago and there was nothing special about the backyard. Now we have a clean leveled yard and can landscape it the way we want to thanks to Greg.

Robotic Dog BigDog from Boston Dynamics

This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. The latest version can carry up to 340 lbs. Play the video below or visit the link to Boston Dynamics. Check out how well it does staying on it's feet after it slips on ice. http://www.bostondynamics.com/content/sec.php?section=BigDog

Perfect dog day

When I think of a perfect relaxing moment, it's this. In the backyard with my dogs on a nice sunny day.

Raccoons in my front yard

I saw some tracks in my grass when I got home and looked through the surveillance video. Looks like the little guys came from the main road, across my garage and then got spooked and ran back towards the tree near the main road.

Panasonic Plasma TH-50PX6U Settings - Update

I was reasonably satisfied with the settings on my TV, but not completely satisfied. I felt like it could look better. I remembered that one of my Star Wars DVD's had a THX Optimizer . I used the optimizer and it looked like the colors and sharpness got a little better than my previous settings. I messed around with it a little more to make colors look more natual to my eyes and came up with the settings below. I didn't use the blue filter glasses with the THX Optimizer, but I guess you can buy them somewhere.

Very Bad Things

I just found this site called www.hulu.com and they have free videos after you take about 30 seconds to sign up. Once the video is playing you have several buttons to do various things like view in 480P, send to a friend and copy/paste the video link in your blog like the video below. Go to hulu.com and watch the video from there to view in full screen and 480P. Here's a list of all the movies they have . Sweeeet! Tip! The full length movies have a movie reel icon next to them.
